A fantastic weekend for two West Wirral groups who took part in The Beavan Challenge and Cheshire Hike during the weekend.
The 46th Beavan Challenge was completed by a record breaking total of 47 teams, and two of the three age category winners were from West Wirral!
Congratulations 5th Heswall Juniors and St Andrews Seniors for winning your categories in 2024, A further congratulations goes to 22nd Bootle YLs who won the explorer category for the first time!
The Cheshire Hike returned after a short delay due to weather earlier in the year, but that did not stop St Andrews from taking the crown for Out Of County Winners – Explorers!
You should all be incredibly proud of your achievements, representing West Wirral and your groups to the wider Scouting community. We look forward to seeing you all return to the competitions and competing again in the near future.
